General description
This cartridge kit was specially developed for the current BMW F-series. The different construction of the fork tubes only allows the mounting of a cartridge system on the right side of the fork.Nevertheless, Wilbers has extracted the maximum possible from the production fork with this solution. In the left fork leg, the production spring is replaced with a progressively wound Wilbers Zero Friction fork spring. In the right fork tube, the non-adjustable production cartridge has been replaced by a Wilbers powered by ZF open cartridge. This now offers the possibility to adjust the rebound damping and the spring preload.
The result, together with Wilbers Zero Friction fork oil, is a significantly better response from the fork and an enormous increase in comfort with sufficient reserves, even with spirited riding and hard braking manoeuvres.
