fork seals
A clear sign of worn fork seals are oily fork stanchions. Normal wear and tear, but particularly barely visible grains of sand, dust, and dirt particles damage the oil seals. Oil leaks slowly, can get onto the brake disc and presents an unnecessary risk factor. Even more serious is a front fork that is no longer functioning correctly with reduced damping. New fork seals restore perfect sealing. Beforehand, the polished fork stanchions should be checked for damage.
