Wilbers fork springs for Ducati Monster 900 93-

Product Details

Wilbers forkfedern-Satz, progressive, for Ducati Monster 900, type M, model year 93- (forköl please order separately), with ABE according to the application list.

General Description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear forkfedern, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring sport, we generally recommend a progressive forkfeder to optimise responsiveness and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. Particularly important is the combination of the "Zero Friction" forkfedern with the specially developed Wilbers forköl, as well as observing the correct air chamber for the corresponding vehicle. If desired, individual tuning can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon forkfedern from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the componente to be processed, such as Wilbers forkfedern, are placed together with abrasive media specially adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the componentupperfläche through constant rubbing against each other. At the end of the process, a fine, shiny surface is achieved.
For Wilbers forkfedern, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of forkfedern includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the forköl and the air chamber height in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the forköl separately.
