The carbon sprocket cover for the Ducati Monster 1200 and 1200 S from model year 2017 is supplied with a matt painted surface and thus blends perfectly into the overall appearance of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts. The sprocket cover replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The focus is on weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and higher rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from Prepreg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and, in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic coating for protection against environmental influences. This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in its protective effect, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating is not only technically impressive, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
