This carbon part replaces the original component using the original mounting points.The main benefits are weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured according to the latest guidelines entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave, and in the next step, as usual, coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences. This plastic finish enormously surpasses the usual clear coat finish in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also significantly highlights the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
