General description
The carbon lower frame tail fairing for the Ducati Monster 1200 / 1200 S from model 2017 onwards replaces the original component using the original mounting points. Key benefits are weight saving (typically a saving of approx. 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from pre-preg (see FAQ) material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines, and in the next step, as is customary for us, coated with a clear plastic finish for protection against environmental influences.This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only excels technically, it also significantly enhances the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
