General Description
The instrument cover for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S replaces the original plastic component. This instrument cover is delivered in a matt finish and thus perfectly matches the equally matt carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance. Through its direct use in the rider's constant field of vision, this cover, like hardly any other component, emphasises the high level of the vehicle and exudes true racing spirit.Weight saving (typically approx. 70% saving compared to the original component) and higher rigidity are paramount. The carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then coated with a clear plastic finish to protect against environmental influences.
This plastic coating enormously surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores technically; it also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
