General description

The carbon exhaust heat shield wraps around the Akrapovic titanium end muffler, giving the rear section of the Ducati Multistrada V4 an unprecedented sporty look!

To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fibre layers are expertly laid and aligned in the mould. This ensures the carbon part perfectly integrates with the surrounding shapes of the motorcycle. The more of our parts are installed and combined, the more stunning the result.
For our carbon, we exclusively use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, painstakingly laminated by hand and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only offers a unique aesthetic but also impressive technical properties. For the same volume, it boasts three times the specific stiffness of steel and, due to its exceptionally low density, only a breakage of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our products due to the high fibre volume content.
To optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we, as the only carbon manufacturer worldwide, use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear coat, this creates an unparalleled and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the material's high quality.
To make not only riding but also fitting a pleasure, we use only the original mounting points for this part.

To further enhance the sporty look of the exhaust, it can be combined with the lower carbon exhaust heat shield.
