Mechanical 35 kW restrictions for Euro 3 motorcycles:Since the introduction of the new driving licence directive in 2013, holders of driving licence class A2 can now look forward to a maximum of 35 kW, which are waiting to be unleashed. With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performances classes become more appealing for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be restricted to the required power, performance of 35 kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current driving licence class A2. The power, performances-to-weight ratio of 0.2 kW/kg and double the original output of the production vehicle must not be exceeded.
A lot of expertise goes into the development of power, performances reduction. Essential factors must be taken into account: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust, noise, and power, performances measurements according to the latest EC directive.
