The focus is on weight savings (typically around 70% compared to the original component) and increased rigidity.This carbon part was manufactured entirely from prepreg material in an autoclave according to the latest guidelines and then covered with a clear plastic coating to protect against environmental influences. This plastic coating significantly surpasses the usual clear lacquer coating in terms of protective effect, scratch resistance, and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically; it also clearly emphasises the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.
