General Description

The Wilbers suspension kit for the BMW R nineT Scrambler and Urban GS models was developed in cooperation with a strong partner.

The focus was on creating a suspension that significantly accentuates the character of these models. Wilbers recognised that it lacked suspension travel and adjustment options.

So, they modified the standard fork and developed a longer Wilbers shock absorber specially tuned for this model.

The fork received longer stanchion tubes and cartridges which, unlike the standard fork, now allow for rebound and compression damping damping adjustment, as well as adaptation of the spring preload. The result is a substantial 70mm lift. This not only gives the R nineT more suspension travel, but also significantly more ground clearance. Both are ideal conditions for moving quickly and safely even off paved streets.
