Wilbers forkfork springs for MV Agusta Rivale 800 14-

Product details

Wilbers forkfork spring kit, progressive, for MV Agusta Rivale 800, Type S 3, model year 14- (forkoil please order separately), with ABE according to the application list

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear forkfork springs, made from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport applications, we generally recommend a progressive forkfork spring to optimise responsiveness and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. The combination of the 'Zero Friction' forkfork springs with the specially developed Wilbers forkoil and observing the correct air chamber for the corresponding vehicle is very important. If desired, individual tuning can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon forkfork springs from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through slide grinding:
During slide grinding, the componente to be processed, such as Wilbers forkfork springs, are located together with a grinding media specially adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, the so-called trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the grinding media, and through constant rubbing against each other, lead to a smoothing of the componentuppersurface. At the end of the process, a fine, glossy surface is achieved.
For Wilbers forkfork springs, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of forkfork springs includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the forkoil and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the forkoil separately.
