Product Details

Wilbers forkfedern set, linear, spring rate 8.5 kg/cm, for Suzuki GSX-R 750, type WVCF, model year 06- (forköl please order separately), with ABE according to the application list

General Description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear forkfedern, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. In touring and touring-sport recommend we generally recommend a progressive forkfeder to optimise response and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. Crucially important is the combination of the "Zero Friction" forkfedern with the specially developed Wilbers forköl, as well as observing the correct air chamber for the correspondinge vehicle. If desired, individual tuning can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, recommend we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon forkfedern from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the Motorsport Team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through slide grinding:
During slide grinding, the componente to be processed, such as Wilbers forkfedern, are located together with an abrasive media specifically adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the componentupperfläche through constant rubbing against each other. At the end of processing, a fine, glossy surface is achieved.
For Wilbers forkfedern, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of forkfedern includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the forköl and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the forköl separately.
