Product details

Wilbers forkfedern kit, progressive, for Kawasaki VN 750, Type VN 750 A, model year 93-95 (forkoil please order separately), with ABE according to the usage list

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear forkfedern, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. In touring and touring sport, we generally recommend a progressive forkfedern to optimise the response and, on the other hand, increase the bottoming-out reserves. Crucially important is the combination of "Zero Friction" forkfedern with the specially developed Wilbers forkoil, as well as observing the correct air chamber for the respective vehicle. If desired, individual tuning can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon forkfedern from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the componente to be processed, such as Wilbers forkfedern, are located together with an abrasive media specially adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, the so-called trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container generate a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media and, through constant rubbing, lead to a smoothing of the componentuppersurface. At the end of the processing, there is a fine, shiny surface.
For Wilbers forkfedern, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each forkfedern set includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the forkoil and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the forkoil separately.
