Wilbers forkfedern for Honda CB 750 K 79

Product details

Wilbers forkfedern set, progressive, for Honda CB 750 K, type RC 01, model year 79 (forköl to be ordered separately), with ABE according to the application list.

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear forkfedern, made from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport, we typically recommend a progressive forkfeder to optimise responsiveness on the one hand and increase bottoming resistance on the other. Crucially, the "Zero Friction" forkfedern should be combined with the specially developed Wilbers forköl, and the correct air chamber for the correspondinge vehicle must be observed. If desired, individual tuning can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend Wilbers' very lightweight linear chrome-silicon forkfedern, which were co-developed with the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the componente to be processed, such as Wilbers forkfedern, are placed together with an abrasive media specially adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the componentupperfläche through constant rubbing. At the end of the process, a fine, shiny surface is achieved.
For Wilbers forkfedern, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of forkfedern includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the forköl and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the forköl separately.
