Product details

Wilbers forkfedern set, progressive, for Ducati Diavel / Carbon, Type G 1, model year 10- (forkoil please order separately), with ABE according to the usage list.

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear forkfedern, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport, we generally recommend a progressive forkfeder to optimise response and, on the other hand, increase bottoming-out reserves. The combination of "Zero Friction" forkfedern with the specially developed Wilbers forkoil and observing the correct air chamber for the respective vehicle is very important. If desired, an individual setup can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon forkfedern from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the workpieces to be processed, such as Wilbers forkfedern, are located together with an abrasive media specifically designed for this purpose, in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the workpiece surface through constant rubbing. At the end of the processing, a fine, shiny surface is achieved.
For Wilbers forkfedern, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of forkfedern includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the forkoil and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the handlebars.

Note: please order the forkoil separately.
