Wilbers fork springs for Suzuki GSX 750 EF 83-

Product details

Wilbers fork spring set, progressive, for Suzuki GSX 750 EF, type GR 72 A, model year 83- (please order fork oil separately), with ABE according to application list.

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear fork springs, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring sport, we generally recommend a progressive fork spring to optimise responsiveness and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. Crucially, the "Zero Friction" fork springs must be combined with the specially developed Wilbers fork oil, and the correct air chamber for the respective vehicle must be observed. If desired, in special cases, an individual adjustment can be achieved by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend Wilbers' very lightweight linear chrome-silicon fork springs, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the workpieces to be processed, such as Wilbers fork springs, are placed together with an abrasive media specially adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the component surface due to constant rubbing. At the end of the process, a fine, glossy surface is achieved.
For Wilbers fork springs, this reduction in surface roughness means minimised friction = ZERO friction.

Each fork spring set includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the fork oil and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimum riding comfort and feedback at the handlebars.

Note: please order the fork oil separately.
