Wilbers fork spring set, progressive, for Honda ST 1100 Pan European, Type SC 26, model year 91-95, models without ABS, (fork oil to be ordered separately), with ABE according to the application list.

General Description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear fork springs, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport applications, we generally recommend a progressive fork spring to optimise response and, on the other hand, increase bottoming resistance. The combination of "Zero Friction" fork springs with the specially developed Wilbers fork oil, as well as observing the correct air chamber for the respective corresponding vehicle, is very important. If desired, an individual setup can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend Wilbers' very lightweight linear chrome-silicon fork springs, which were co-developed by the Motorsport Team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the components to be processed, such as Wilbers fork springs, are placed together with an abrasive media specifically designed for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the componentupper surface through constant rubbing. At the end of the process, a fine, shiny surface is achieved.
For Wilbers fork springs, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each fork spring set includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the fork oil and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.
