Wilbers fork springs for Honda CBR 600 RR 07-

Product Details

Wilbers fork springs set, linear, spring rate 9.5 kg/cm for Honda CBR 600 RR, Type PC 40 A, Model Year 07- (fork oil please order separately), with ABE according to the application list.

General Description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear fork springs, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport applications, we typically recommend a progressive fork spring to optimise response behaviour and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. The combination of "Zero Friction" fork springs with the specially developed Wilbers fork oil, as well as observing the correct air gap for the corresponding vehicle, is very important. If desired, an individual setup can be achieved in special cases by changing the air gap.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon-fork springs from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the Motorsport Team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the components to be processed, such as Wilbers fork springs, are placed together with an abrasive media specially tailored for this application in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative motion between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the componentupper surface through constant rubbing. At the end of the processing, a fine, gleaming surface is achieved.
For Wilbers fork springs, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of fork springs includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the fork oil and the height of the air gap in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the fork oil separately.
