Product details

Wilbers fork spring set, linear, spring rate 9.5 kg/cm, for Honda CBR 600 RR, Type PC 37 B, model year 05- (fork oil please order separately), with ABE according to the application list

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear fork springs, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport recommend we generally recommend a progressive fork spring to optimise responsiveness and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. The combination of "Zero Friction" fork springs with the specially developed Wilbers fork oil and adherence to the correct air chamber for the respective vehicle is very important. If desired, individual tuning can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, recommend we recommend the very lightweight linear chrome silicon fork springs from Wilbers, which were co-developed with the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through drag finishing:
During drag finishing, the components to be processed, such as Wilbers fork springs, are located together with an abrasive media specially adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the componentupper surface through constant rubbing. At the end of the process, a fine, shiny surface is achieved.
For Wilbers fork springs, this reduction in surface roughness means minimising friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of fork springs includes a recommendation regarding the viscosity of the fork oil and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the fork oil separately.
