Product details

Wilbers fork spring set, progressive, for Benelli TNT Sport / Sport Evo, Type TN, model year 07-08 (fork oil to be ordered separately), with ABE according to application list

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear fork springs, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport recommend, we generally recommend a progressive fork spring to optimise responsiveness and, on the other hand, increase bottoming resistance. The combination of the "Zero Friction" fork springs with the specially developed Wilbers fork oil and observing the correct air chamber for the respective vehicle is crucial. If desired, an individual setup can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon fork springs from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the workpieces to be processed, such as Wilbers fork springs, are placed together with a grinding media specifically adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create relative movement between the workpiece and the grinding media, and through constant rubbing, lead to a smoothing of the componentupper surface. At the end of the process, a fine, shiny surface is achieved.
For Wilbers fork springs, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of fork springs includes a recommendation regarding the viscosity of the fork oil and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimum riding comfort and feedback on the front wheel.

Note: please order the fork oil separately.
