Wilbers fork fork springs for Honda FMX 650 05-

Product Details

Wilbers fork fork spring set, progressive, for Honda FMX 650, Type RD 12 A, Model Year 05- (fork oil please order separately), with ABE according to the application list.

General Description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear fork fork springs, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport applications, we typically recommend a progressive fork spring to optimise the response and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. The combination of the "Zero Friction" fork fork springs with the specially developed Wilbers fork oil and observing the correct air chamber for the respective vehicle is very important. If desired, individual tuning can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon fork fork springs from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the component parts to be processed, such as Wilbers fork fork springs, are placed together with an abrasive media specially tailored for this application in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the componentupper surface due to constant rubbing. At the end of the processing, a fine, shiny surface is achieved.
For Wilbers fork fork springs, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each fork fork spring set includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the fork oil and the height of the air chamber in the fork fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the fork oil separately.
