Wilbers fork fork springs for Ducati ST 3 04-

Product details

Wilbers fork fork spring set, progressive, for Ducati ST 3, Type S 3, model year 04- (fork oil to be ordered separately), with ABE according to application list

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers progressive or linear fork fork springs, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome silicon steel. For touring and touring sport, we generally recommend a progressive fork fork spring to optimise responsiveness and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. Crucially important is the combination of the 'Zero Friction' fork fork springs with the specially developed Wilbers fork oil, as well as observing the correct air chamber for the respective corresponding vehicle. If desired, an individual setup can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome silicon fork fork springs from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the component components to be processed, such as Wilbers fork fork springs, are placed together with an abrasive media specially adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media, leading to a smoothing of the componentupper surface through constant rubbing. At the end of the process, a fine, glossy surface is achieved.
For Wilbers fork fork springs, this reduction in surface roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each set of fork fork springs includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the fork oil and the air chamber height in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback on the front wheel.

Note: please order the fork oil separately.
