Product details

Wilbers fork set, progressive, for Honda CBF 600 N/S, type PC 38, model year 04- (fork oil must be ordered separately), with ABE according to application list.

General description

Depending on the application, Wilbers offers you progressive or linear fork, manufactured from the best and highest quality chrome-silicon steel. For touring and touring-sport applications, we generally recommend a progressive fork to optimise responsiveness and, on the other hand, to increase bottoming resistance. The combination of "Zero Friction" fork with the specially developed Wilbers fork oil and observing the correct air chamber for the corresponding vehicle is very important. If desired, an individual setup can be achieved in special cases by changing the air chamber.
For motorsport applications, we recommend the very light linear chrome-silicon fork from Wilbers, which were co-developed by the motorsport team.

"ZERO friction" friction reduction through vibratory finishing:
During vibratory finishing, the component to be processed, such as Wilbers fork, are placed together with an abrasive media specially adapted for this purpose in a vibrating container, known as a trough vibrator.
The vibrations of the container create a relative movement between the workpiece and the abrasive media and lead to a smoothing of the componentupper through constant rubbing. At the end of the process, a fine, glossy upper is achieved.
For Wilbers fork, this reduction in upper roughness means a minimisation of friction = ZERO friction.

Each fork set includes a recommendation for the viscosity of the fork oil and the height of the air chamber in the fork. These values have been determined by experienced Wilbers technicians and ensure optimal riding comfort and feedback at the front wheel.

Note: please order the fork oil separately.
