General description

With the "Dynamic ESA" chassis, BMW has developed a very good, forward-looking suspension system that permanently adapts to the roaduppersurface and the respective driving situation. With our WESA-Dynamic technology, we offer the possibility to individually adapt this suspension system to your personal needs. This involves an individual damper characteristic and adjustment, taking into account the rider's weight, payload, and intended use. In series production, the shock absorber of the BMW M 1000 R exhibits significantly too much rebound damping. Therefore, we have reduced this during our conversion and additionally optimised the compression dampingndämpfung. The WESA-Dynamic ESA QRR shock absorber also offers the possibility to manually adjust the compression dampingndämpfung in the high and low-speed range. This results in an additional adjustment option, which significantly increases the adjustment range compared to the series production. These optimisations lead to significantly better riding behaviour and more precise handling of the M 1000 R, contributing to safer riding. All experienceen and development steps of our racing team have directly flowed into the development and the rider-adapted tuning of the shock absorber. When converting from DSA to WESA, the functionality of the DSA system is fully retained.
