General Description

MCK35 - Electronic power, performance reduction to 35 kW for Euro 5 motorcycles:
With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more interesting for motorcycle riders, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, special conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence class. The power, performance-to-weight ratio of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Much expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be taken into account here: on the one hand, legal requirements such as exhaust gas, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery, as unchanged as possible.

From the outset, alpha Technik has shaped the development of power, performance modifications for new Euro 4 and Euro 5 vehicles according to currently valid guidelines. Since the launch of the protected MCR restriction modules in 2016, we have offered you and your customers reliable technology of the highest standard at an affordable price.

The latest version makes restricting vehicles with 'ride-by-wire' even simpler, faster, and more convenient. These vehicles can now be safely reduced to 35 kW without the previously used additional restriction plates (*).
The newly developed control technology of the modules always ensures the correct gas-to-air ratio.

The redundancy required by law is naturally met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Workshop time for installing the restriction is significantly reduced; installation is quicker and very easy to carry out.
A major advantage of the MCR restrictor for bikers remains the complete number-plate bracket of the twist grip angle at the throttle twist grip – every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion!

(*) For Euro 5 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle bodies, the additional restriction plates remain an indispensable component for correct mixture composition – this prevents leaning out with reduced gas supply but fully open throttle valves.
