Electronic restriction to 35 kW for Euro 5 motorcycles:
With alpha Technik restriction kits, motorcycles of all power, performance classes become more attractive for the motorcycle rider, as almost any desired model can be brought to the required power, performance of 35kW. However, specific conditions apply to holders of the current A2 driving licence category. The power, performance weight of 0.2kW/kg and double the original output of the series vehicle must not be exceeded.

Extensive expertise goes into the development of power, performance reduction. Key factors must be considered here: on the one hand, statutory regulations such as exhaust, noise, and power, performance measurements according to the latest EC directive. On the other hand, the preservation of optimal rideability and homogeneous power, performance delivery as unchanged as possible.

From the outset, alpha Technik has shaped the development of power, performance modifications for new Euro 5 vehicles according to currently valid guidelines. Since the launch of the protected MCR restriction modules in 2016, we have offered you and your customers reliable, state-of-the-art technology at an affordable price.
The latest version makes restriction for 'ride-by-wire' vehicles even simpler, faster, and more convenient. These vehicles can now be reliably restricted to 35 kW without the additional throttle plates (*) previously used. The newly developed control technology of the modules ensures the correct gas-to-air ratio at all times.

The redundancy required by law is, of course, met, as is electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Workshop time for installing the restriction is significantly reduced; installation is quicker and very easy to carry out.
A major advantage of the MCR restriction for bikers remains the complete number-plate bracket of the rotation angle at the throttle twist grip – every movement towards full throttle provides propulsion!

(*) For Euro 5 vehicles with conventional throttle cables to the throttle bodies, the additional throttle plates remain an indispensable component for correct mixture composition – this prevents leaning out with reduced gas supply but fully open throttle bodies.
