LOAD CELL SENSOR FOR THE ELECTRONIC QUICKSHIFTER

With the new UP/DOWN SHIFT ASSIST ("Blipper"), Rapid Bike takes a remarkable step front thanks to further technological development.

In conjunction with Rapid Bike EVO and RACING modules, the new Blipper allows control of gear changes during upshifting and downshifting, without needing to operate the clutch.

This allows racing enthusiasts even shorter shift times without interrupting power transmission, thus providing more safety while riding and shaving off a few tenths of a second from lap times.

This shift assistant was developed for vehicles with true Ride By Wire.

The electronics communicate with the EVO or RACING module via Rapid Bike's own CAN-bus wiring harness, thus controlling the shifting processes. The shift time and the force required to trigger the shift can be adjusted specifically to the rider's preference in the Rapid Bike software or with the You Tune module. The necessary adjustment of the injection during upshifting can even be gear-specific. Similarly, the duration of the speed increase during downshifting is adjustable.

The Blipper can be used with both normal and reverse shift patterns.

Installation and use

RAPID BIKE's latest technological revolution is an improved version of a popular accessory like the load cell sensor. The new quick-shift unit exchanges information with EVO and RACING modules via CAN-Bus to ensure a highly accurate and timely dead time, thanks to the ability for the engine to immediately recover power after the shift is completed.
This represents a truly innovative solution based on self-learning technology, allowing the shifting process to be reduced to as little as 20 milliseconds while adapting to engine characteristics and riding style. The result is a seamless shifting procedure, enhanced riding comfort, safer gear changes, and reduced mechanical stress.
A universally applicable accessory that maintains flexibility in handling standard and reverse shift lever patterns. This new element can also be used as a conventional quickshifter to retain the possibility of adjusting kill-timing with a wide range of options available with RAPID BIKE software.
The new RAPID BIKE load cell sensor can be further enhanced in combination with the YOUTUNE controller to adjust the pressure level in real-time for rapid shifting operations.
