Rapid Bike BlipperLOAD CELL SENSOR FOR THE ELECTRONIC QUICKSHIFTER
With the new UP/DOWN SHIFT ASSIST (“Blipper”), Rapid Bike takes a remarkable step forward thanks to further technological development.
In conjunction with Rapid Bike EVO and RACING modules, the new Blipper allows control of gear changes during upshifting and downshifting, without needing to operate the clutch.
This enables racing enthusiasts to achieve even shorter shift times without interrupting power flow, thus providing more riding safety and gaining a few tenths of a second on lap times.
This shift assistant was developed for vehicles with true Ride By Wire.
The electronics communicate with the EVO or RACING module via Rapid Bike's own CAN-bus wiring harness, thereby controlling the shifting processes. The shift time and the necessary force to activate the shifting process can be adjusted according to rider preference in the Rapid Bike software or with the You Tune module. The necessary adjustment of the injection during upshifting can even be set gear-specifically. Similarly, the duration of the speed increase during downshifting is adjustable.
The Blipper is usable with both standard and reverse shift patterns.
NOTE: Please note that during initial calibration, a connection must be established between the Rapid Bike EVO module and the computer. Further information on installation and number-plate bracket can be found in the instructions in the "Downloads" tab.
RAPID BIKE's latest technological revolution is an improved version of a popular accessory such as the load cell sensor. The new quick-shift unit exchanges information with EVO and RACING modules via CAN-bus to ensure highly accurate and timely kill-time, thanks to the engine's ability to immediately return to power after the shift is completed.
This represents a truly innovative solution based on self-learning technology, allowing the shifting process to be reduced to as little as 20 milliseconds while adapting to engine characteristics and riding style. The result is a seamless shifting procedure, increased riding comfort, safer gear changes, and reduced mechanical stress.
A universally applicable accessory that maintains flexibility in handling standard and reverse shift lever patterns. This new element can also be used as a conventional quickshifter, retaining the possibility of adjusting kill-timing with a wide range of options available with RAPID BIKE software.
The new RAPID BIKE load cell sensor can be further enhanced in combination with the YOUTUNE controller to adjust the pressure level in real-time for fast gear shifts.
