General Description

Piega R Aluminium Forged Rim (race use only/for circuit use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative “C-section” and is ideal for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A highly competitive set of wheels which – compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The monobloc Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings for chain and brake disc are individually adapted to the requirements of each race bike.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can be subjected to a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

- Items included rear wheel: bearings, bearing sleeves, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrier carrier, cush drive rubbers

For the highest demands, the wheels in the rim and hub area can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be considered. Prices and minimum quantities upon request.

Both front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from rotating on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
