General description

Piega R aluminium forged wheel (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is predestined for teams, riders and championships where wheel performance plays a "significant" role.

A very competitive set of wheels that - compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The Piega R series, made from a single casting, impresses with its lightness. The hub design, the mountings of the chain and brake disc are each adapted to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can be subjected to a special bal treatment to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swing arms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mounting
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mounting, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swing arm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the area of the rim and the hub can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be considered. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both the front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swing arms.
