General description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative “C-section” and is designed for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a “significant” role.

A highly competitive set of rims, which - compared to most commonly used and older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The Piega R series, cast in a single piece, convinces with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain rim and brake disc are each adapted to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to minimising weight. The rims can be subjected to a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the rims.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrierr, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the rims and hubs can also be custom manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.

Both front and rear wheel can be equipped with an anti-slip coating upon request to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
