General Description

Piega R aluminium forged wheel (race use only):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative “C-section” and is perfectly suited for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of wheels that offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness compared to most commonly used and older designs of forged rims.

The one-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain and brake disc are each tailored to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special bal peening process to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarm).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrierr, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the area of the rim and the hub can also be custom-made according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available on request.

Both front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from spinning on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is naturally also available for single-sided swingarms.
