General Description

Piega R aluminium forged wheel (race use only):



The PIEGA R series features the innovative "C-section" and is designed for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.



A highly competitive set of wheels that offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness compared to most commonly used and older designs of forged rims.



The one-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mounting of the chain and brake disc are all tailored to the requirements of individual race bikes.

The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.



OZ rims are interchangeable with original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).



All necessary components are included in the set.

- Scope of supply rear wheel: Bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers

- Scope of supply rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve



For the highest demands, the wheels in the area of the rim and the hub can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be considered. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.



Both front and rear wheel wheels can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from rotating on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
