General Description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is predestined for teams, riders and championships where rim performance plays a significant role.

A highly competitive set of rims which – compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight and stiffness.

The single-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain and brake disc are each tailored to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodising of the surface also contributes to minimising weight. The rims can undergo a special balblasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the rims.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

- Included in delivery for rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrierr, cush drive rubbers
- Included in delivery for rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the rims and hubs can also be custom-manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
