Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative “C-section” and is designed for teams, riders, and championships where __AT_GLSOSSARY_14__ performance plays a “significant” role.

A highly competitive set of rims that offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims.

The single-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain sprocket and brake disc are each tailored to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodising of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The rims can be subjected to a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the rims.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the rims and hubs can also be custom-made according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.

Both the front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
