General Description

Piega R aluminium forged wheel (race use only):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative "C-section" and is ideal for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of wheels which – compared to most commonly used and older designs of forged rims – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The one-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain and brake disc are individually tailored to the requirements of each race bike.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special bal shot blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of supply front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier
- Scope of supply rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of supply rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the rim and hub area can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.

Both front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
