General description
Piega R aluminium forged wheel (race use only):The PIEGA R series features the innovative “C-section” and is designed for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a “significant” role.
A highly competitive set of wheels which – compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.
The one-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chainnblatt and brake disc are each adapted to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can be subjected to a special ballblasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.
OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).
All necessary components are included in the set.

For the highest demands, the wheels in the rim and hub area can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.
Both front wheel and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
