General description

Piega R aluminium forged wheel (race use only/for track use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is ideally suited for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of wheels, which - compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The single-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of chainnblatt and brake disc are individually adapted to the requirements of the respective race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special ball blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the area of the rim and the hub can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available on request.

Both front and rear wheel can be equipped with an anti-slip coating on request to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
