General Description

Piega R Aluminium Forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is designed for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A highly competitive set of rears, which offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims.

The Piega R series, made from a single casting, impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings for the chain sprocket and brake disc are each adapted to the requirements of individual race bikes.
The anodising of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The rears can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the rears.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrier, rubber cush drive
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the rears can also be specially manufactured in the area of the rim and the hub according to team specifications. Requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be particularly taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
