General description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative “C-section” and is ideal for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a “significant” role.

A highly competitive set of wheels that offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims.

The Piega R series, made from a single casting, impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain sprocket and brake disc are each tailored to the requirements of individual race bikes.
The anodising of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

For the highest demands, the wheels, including the rim and hub, can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.

Both the front and rear wheel can be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
