General description

Piega R Aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is predestined for teams, riders and championships where service life of the wheels plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of wheels which - compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight and stiffness.

The one-piece cast Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain and brake disc are individually tailored to the requirements of the respective race bikes.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

- Scope of supply rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrierr, shock absorber rubber
- Scope of supply rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the rim and hub area can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is naturally also available for single-sided swingarms.
