General description

Piega R aluminium forged wheel (race use only):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative 'C-section' and is designed for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a 'significant' role.

A highly competitive set of wheels that offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness compared to most commonly used and older forged rim designs.

The Piega R series, with its single-piece construction, impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings for the chain sprocket and brake disc are each tailored to the requirements of individual race bikes.
The anodising of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special ball shot-peening procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be exchanged (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

For the highest demands, the wheels in the rim and hub area can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can be equipped with an anti-slip coating on request to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
