General description

Piega R Aluminium forged wheel rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is predestined for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a "significant" role.

A very competitive set of wheels which offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims.

The one-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain sprocket and brake disc are each matched to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to minimising weight. The wheels can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrier carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications in the area of the rim and the hub. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
