General description

Piega R aluminium forged wheel (race use only/for track use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is predestined for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of wheels, which - compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The single-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The hub design, the mounting of the chain sprocket and brake disc are each tailored to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special bal blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Front wheel contents: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier
- Rear wheel contents: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Rear wheel single-sided swingarm contents: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the rim and hub area can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.

Both the front and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
