General description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is ideal for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A highly competitive set of wheels that – compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The one-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountingn for the chainnblatt and brake disc are each specifically adapted to the requirements of individual race bikes.
The anodisation of the surface also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special ball blasting procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing sleeves, spacing washern, angleventil, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrierr, cush drive rubbers

For the highest demands, the wheels in the rim and hub areas can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.

Both front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
