General description
Piega R aluminium forged rear (race use only):The PIEGA R series features the innovative “C-section” and is designed for teams, riders and championships where the performance of the rears plays a significant role.
A very competitive set of rears, which - compared to most commonly used and older designs of forged rims - offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight and stiffness.
The single-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings for the chain and brake discs are each adapted to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The rears can be subjected to a special bal treatment to further improve the already impressive service life of the rears.
OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swing arms).
All necessary components are included in the set.

- Scope of supply rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers

For the highest demands, the rears can also be specially manufactured in the rim and hub area according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities on request.
Both front and rear wheel can be optionally equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from rotating on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swing arms.
