General Description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative "C-section" and is perfectly suited for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of wheels that offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness compared to most commonly used and older designs of forged rims.

The single-piece construction of the Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain sprocket, and the brake disc are individually tailored to the requirements of each race bike.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special bal shot peening process to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier, rear sprocket carrierr, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels can also be specially manufactured in the rim and hub area according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities available upon request.

Both front and rear wheel can be equipped with an anti-slip coating upon request to prevent the tire from rotating on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
