General description

Piega R aluminium forged rim (race use only/only for track use):

The PIEGA R series features the innovative "C-section" and is designed for teams, riders and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A highly competitive set of wheels that – compared to most commonly used and older designs of forged rims – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight and stiffness.

The single-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain and brake disc are individually tailored to the requirements of the respective race bikes.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can be subjected to a special ballstrahlprozedur to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.
- Scope of delivery front wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount
- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc mount, rear sprocket carrier, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels can also be specially manufactured according to team specifications in the area of the rim and the hub. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities upon request.

Both front and rear wheel can optionally be equipped with an anti-slip coating to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
