General Description

Piega R aluminium forged wheel rim (race use only):

The PIEGA R series is equipped with the innovative "C-section" and is perfectly suited for teams, riders, and championships where wheel performance plays a significant role.

A very competitive set of wheels which – compared to the most commonly used and older designs of forged rims – offers more advantages in terms of mass, weight, and stiffness.

The one-piece Piega R series impresses with its lightness. The design of the hub, the mountings of the chain sprocket and brake disc are each adapted to the requirements of the individual race bikes.
The surface anodisation also contributes to weight minimisation. The wheels can undergo a special bal shot-peening procedure to further improve the already impressive service life of the wheels.

OZ rims are interchangeable with the original rims. For the rear wheel wheel, only the rear sprocket needs to be replaced (except for single-sided swingarms).

All necessary components are included in the set.

- Scope of delivery rear wheel: bearings, bearing bushes, spacing washers, angle valve, brake disc carrier, rear sprocket carriers, cush drive rubbers
- Scope of delivery rear wheel single-sided swingarm: angle valve

For the highest demands, the wheels in the area of the rim and the hub can also be custom-made according to team specifications. In particular, requirements regarding weight, mass, and stiffness can be taken into account. Prices and minimum quantities upon request.

Both front and rear wheel wheels can be equipped with an anti-slip coating on request to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim during extreme acceleration. The Piega R is, of course, also available for single-sided swingarms.
